Chuback Vein Center
A vein doctor — also referred to as a “vascular surgeon” or “vascular specialist” — focuses on the condition of the circulatory system, the arteries, and veins that transport blood throughout the body. Vein doctors focus on medical therapies, catheter procedures, and surgeries that enable or restore proper circulatory function.
The discipline developed from general and cardiac (heart-related) fields and is now considered a specialty in its own right. The vascular specialization includes work related to any blood vessel in the body, except for those within the heart and brain. Some vascular specialists also perform work related to the lymphatic system because it uses blood vessels to function as well. The work of a vein doctor is critical to overall health and can involve the diagnosis and treatment of serious medical conditions like:
Tri-State area’s premier center
Chuback Vein Center founder John A. Chuback discovered a passion for vein surgeries as he was studying cardiothoracic surgery. He spent additional years of training on top of his work as a heart surgeon to learn additional surgical techniques specific to circulation in the arms, legs, hands, and feet. He went on to start Chuback Vein Center, one of the first vein centers in Bergen County.
Chuback Vein Center is now known as the Tri-State area’s premier center for minimally-invasive, same-day laser vein treatments. Our vein procedures are offered in a comfortable office setting.
Dr. Chuback was raised in Bergen County and is proud to still call it home. He graduated from Dwight Englewood School before earning his MD at Rutgers Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Chuback then completed a five-year General Surgical Residency at Monmouth Medical Center. He received additional intensive surgical training at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, and the Crozier-Chester Medical Burn Center in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Chuback went even further with a two-year advanced fellowship in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at The University of Rochester Medical Center and the internationally acclaimed Strong Memorial Hospital in New York. While constantly maintaining his passion for medicine and providing exceptional care, Dr. Chuback is also an author, inventor, and entrepreneur. He founded Chuback Education and has published two books on personal development titled The Straight A Handbook - The 50 Most Powerful Secrets for Ultimate Success in and out of the Classroom and Make Your Own Damn Cheese: Understanding, Navigating, and Mastering the 3 Mazes of Success. Dr. Chuback is also the co-founder of a nutraceutical company called VitaSupportMD that manufactures high-quality dietary supplements to support healthy living. Dr. Chuback is married to Diane Chuback, Ph.D., MBA, who currently serves as CEO for Chuback Vein Center. They have three beautiful children together.
